Discovering Armenia... How to survive in a reality show and be happy

We offer you a creative report by members of the youth exchange in Armenia - which, as it sometimes happen, did not go quite according to European standards. 

For the first time, we saw an ad in a Facebook group that participant for Youth in Action in the city of Sevan in Armenia were sought after, and the truth is, we do not know much about it or the city, nor about the country to our great shame. And yet, something inside of us called upon to take part in this project, especially since the topic seemed to us very interesting - "GMOs and the health of young people", you see, is very important for a student of any major! And, as already experienced "team" European Club Donetsk, we went to discover Armenia...

Eyes wide open on the world around

Moldova seemed like wonderland to activists of the Center for Political Studies, who visited it for 7 days - from 13 to 20 July 2013 in the small town of Vadu lui Voda, situated on the right bank of the Dniester River, 20 km from Chisinau. 

In this wonderland was an international training in the framework of the EU "Youth in Action" on "Participation of young people - the success of future change." The project involved eight countries - Denmark, Romania, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. We - three students from Donetsk - were lucky enough to represent our country on this training. All of us have been delegated by the organization "Center for Political Studies" for active participation in the Debate and speaking clubs.

Ukrainian avant-guard team returns from Norway

Two members of the Ukrainian team (on the picture right), which is going to participate in the youth exchange "Future of Europe" in Drammen, Norway, yesterday travelled back to Ukraine.

During the Advanced Planning Visit, we met with the exchange organizers, youth NGO Intermezzo, and made friends with its team. We also sat together with leaders of other national teams - from Russia, Turkey and Italy (on the picture left) - to discuss the program of the coming exchange.

Euroclub is inviting active youth to discuss Future of Europe in Norway

The project “Future of Europe” within the Youth in Action Program 2012 will host a multilateral Youth Exchange, which will take place on 3–9 September in Drammen, Norway.

The exchange will bring together youth from such diverse countries as Norway, Italy, Russia, Ukraine and Turkey. This project will encourage young people to reflect on European topics including European Citizenship, and to involve them in the discussion on the construction and future of the European Union.

Театр, огонь и пиар - в одном обмене!

Всем здравствуйте! Меня зовут Марина, я участница Евроклуба из Кировограда, и я была участницей молодежного обмена в Болгарии вместе с Донецкой областной молодежной организацией "Евроклуб".

Наша команда состояла из 5 человек. Я, Андрюшка Зеленский, Оксана Штых, Аленка (не помню фамилии) и Антошка Боцман. Обмен был чудесным, особо порадовали ребята из Испании и Армении. Несмотря на некоторые бытовые трудности, нам удалось получить огромный опыт в сфере театрального искусства, работы с огнем и пиар-технологиями, обменяться идеями по поводу активного старения и конечно же при этом .... не пропустить основные игры чемпионата Евро 2012.

Перечислим позитивы:

• отличная атмосфера;
• красивая природа;
• группа профессионалов (фаер-театр);
• отличная команда (наша - самая лучшая);
• желание чему-то научиться;
• развлечения параллельно с работой;
• питание;
• и т.д.

 Что немного огорчило:

• отсутствие в рационе фруктов и соков
• холод (утро и вечер были прохладными)

• небольшое количество информации от организаторов

но при этом - ВСЕ ПОЛУЧИЛОСЬ! Все с нетерпением ждем видео от армянской группы и надеемся на возможность еще раз увидеться и пообщаться.

P.S.  теперь как минимум в 5 странах поднимая рюмку или бокал люди будут кричать: "Будьмо - Гей!", фотографироваться со словами "Вот это уровень", и искать на рынке украинское сало!

Тренинг "Volunteer(ing) is IN" - путешествие по просторам Сербии

Наше путешествие в Суботицу Сербия началось задолго до начала самого тренинга. Ему предшествовали переписка с организаторами по поводу разных мелочей, домашнее задание от наших тренеров и конечно общение с будущими участниками в Facebook.

В самой Суботице нас встретили не смотря на погоду (все было завалено снегом и минусовая температура), и на позднее время – 2 часа ночи. Очень вежливый Виктор отвел всю нашу компанию в отель, где сразу отыскались чашки, чай и снеки. И мы еще до 4 утра болтали о разных мелочах, совсем не чувствуя 12 часовой поездки.

Donetsk youth will participate in international exchange in Serbia

Members of the Donetsk Regional Youth Organization "Euroclub" will take part in a youth exchange to take place in early February in Subotica, Serbia.

Exchange on the topics of volunteering and working with people with disabilities will be organised by the Roma educational center within the EU program "Youth in Action".
