Drammen is a great place

Withing the project "Future of Europe", approved by the Norwegian Bufetat under the auspices of the EU Program "Youth In Action", on the invitation of Intermezzo Ungdomsorganisasjon, Sergiy Stukarin and I participated in the Advanced Planning visit in Drammen, Norway, on 21-23 August, 2012.We were warmly met by our partners. The organizers are very pleasant people. We've managed to discuss different issues connected to our Youth Exchange in September to get the most of it. Furthermore, we've enjoyed a marvelous tour around Oslo. Vigelandsparken is a fantastic place!

I’d also like to share some more words about our stay in Drammen.
We stayed in the wooden houses for 4 persons. There was everything you need: a bed, a stove and a fridge. A hotel can’t be compared with such a lovely house. There is no doubt that wooden houses are associated with beautiful nature. It is true in our case as well. There is a beautiful Norwegian river nearby. We bathed there. The water was cold but it was not an obstacle for us. One more advantage of the place is silence and very clean and fresh air.
A lot can be said about food. For breakfast there was a varied choice of food: muesli, yoghurt, cheese, sausage, etc. Lunch was held in a Pakistan restaurant in the center of Drammen. The food was very tasty, although very special.
There are lots of sightseeing in Drammen. You can walk around in the evening for hours.
I look forward to our next meeting in September.
