Center for Political Studies, jointly with the portal “American Clubs – Ukraine”, and the Kyiv Alumni Resource Center (ARC) announces the Second Annual Student Essay Competition in support of Democracy in Ukraine, on the topic “Bill of Rights in the US: Democracy Lessons for Ukraine”.
Starting from the middle of the 20th century, December 15 is celebrated each year as the Bill of Rights Day in the US. What is the historical significance of this document? How did it impact the US and the world? In which ways can the American experience of guaranteeing rights and liberties and limiting the powers of the central Government, be useful for Ukraine?
We invite University students from all parts of Ukraine to give their own answers to these topical questions in the format of essay.
Qualified high school students – provided they are members of European and American Clubs of Ukraine – are also invited to submit their essays to this contest!
